As a specialized subcontractor, under the main contract between Mr. BCC Company and PFS Company, PFS’ tasks were covering the following activities:
- Drilling of 71 foundation piles, with 880/780mm diameter into hard Rock with 14m depth
- Drilling of 88 foundation piles, with 1180/1060mm diameter into hard Rock with 18m depth
- Fabrication and installation of steel cage
- Concreting
The project consists the construction of the twisted tower project with 33
floors. Under the main contract between PFS and Mr Khalil Rihan, PFS was nominated as a specialized subcontractor to execute the deep foundation works. Due to the subsurface conditions, PFS has installed a total of 159 foundation piles. Piles were designed to work on skin friction and End-Bearing.
